its 53rd season, A Season of Firsts! in which we explore exciting new corners of the chamber orchestra repertory, bring you premieres of forgotten masterpieces, and embark on new collaborations.  This season's highlights include the Rochester premiere of Louise Farrenc's gripping First Symphony (you do not want to miss this work!) and the launch of our exciting Women in Music initiative. 

The RCO is committed to serving the Rochester community through great performances, creative programming, and ongoing educational outreach.  We invite you to explore these pages to learn more about our mission, values and plans for the future. But most of all enjoy the music!

Women of note

Following up on the RCO's season opener featuring Louise Farrenc's masterful First Symphony, the RCO is pleased to present its first annual Women in Music concert, celebrating the works of women composers past and present.
